grape hyacinth

So Pretty.

Little grape hyacinths.

These were growing in my mum's spring garden.

My mum invited us over for a lobster dinner on Sunday evening.

After dinner my husband helped her hang a bird house on a garden hook.

My daughter, son-in-law and grandson
came over on Saturday.

My grandson and their little dog

made some beautiful music together.

It's teacher appreciation month at work!

I received flowers from many of my families this week!

They are so beautiful and they are all over my house...

vases and vases of flowers.

Teaching toddlers is incredibly rewarding...

filled with hugs and laughter and love..

also, tears and tantrums and poop!

It's nice to be reminded of how much the families appreciate

the work we do with their little sweetie-pies.

After months of searching I think I've finally found a church I can call home!

Wouldn't you know it's the church I went to as a girl...

right back where I started from!

  1. Lobster...yum! I don't get to have it often, but, boy, do I enjoy it when I do.

Finding a church home is so important, and it is such a joy to worship with other believers. I'm glad your search has ended and that you have found your home.

    Blessings,
    Patti

  3. We have a few grape hyacinths scattered across our yard - so cute! I'm sure your mom enjoyed having help and having you all over. Love the thought of Verne and your dog making music together. All the flowers are so nice! That's so sweet that you ended up back in the church you were in as a girl.

  7. Oh boy, what you wrote about teaching toddlers is so true. Especially the poop part. LOL. I always say to my husband I should be charging by the pound and we'd be rich! Hahaha. It's wonderful to love your job and be appreciated. Your hyacinths are gorgeous and tulips are my favorite!
