Oh how I love this time of year!
Summer is over regardless of what the calendar tells us.
Autumn has. not yet begun even if there is pumpkin spice everywhere.
The sunflowers are heavy with seeds and drooping in the garden.
Zinnias are riotous with color, and the other garden flowers are
doing all that they can to keep up before the first frost.
The nights are cool enough for sleeping with the windows open with a puffy blanket.
I've begun to think about my favourite sweaters again, and blue jeans, and socks!
Here in New England leaves are beginning to drop here and there;
they are bright and beautiful with colour.
Oh how I love this time of year!
