Apples heaped on market barrows
juicy plums and stripy marrows
My nana's salad bowl sits on the kitchen table filled with apples waiting to be baked into a crisp,
there are cheery yellow chrysanthemums at the bottom of the porch steps,
squirrels have been busy storing up food and leaving beautiful messes on the landings.
afternoons are spent sipping tea and knitting,
and here and there are little signs that autumn is coming.
Love all of these blessings! Yes in the ADK yesterday I saw some early signs of Autumn in the high peaks! Tomorrow I'm headed to the southern region of the adk where there won't be much color yet.
